Rules
and Regulations
1) Angling is allowed to members of New Shildon
Angling club, Eden Grange ponds,
Members and day ticket holders.
Brusselton Reservoir is for
adult members only,
(NO DAY TICKETS)
Juniors accompanied by an
adult at bailiff's discretion.
2) Anyone fishing must be in possession of a current NRA rod
licence, where applicable.
3) Cars parked at owners risk.
4) Angling may be allowed during the NRA designated close
season, but during such
times, keepnets may be barred. Keepnets are allowed at Brusselton,
except between the hours of noon and 4.00pm.
THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ADHERED
TO.
5) Lead weights must conform to the 1987 Government Byelaw,
regulating the
restrictions thereof.
6) Absolutely no fish/eggs or fry are to be retained, and no
fish shall be transferred,
or stocked to or from the Fisheries, unless authorised by
permission of the lawful
occupiers.
7) Anglers are restricted to the fishing area and must on no
account encroach onto the
adjacent property.
THE NATURE RESERVE AT EDEN GRANGE IS OUT OF
BOUNDS TO ANGLERS
8) All children under the age of 12years must be supervised
by an adult. Day tickets
will not be issued to any individual under the age of 12years.
9) Authorised Club Bailiffs, members and day ticket holders
are allowed to stop any
person fishing who cannot produce a membership card, day ticket
or any other
recognised form of authority.
10) Litter will not be tolerated at these fisheries,
USE THE
BINS PROVIDED or
take your litter home with you!!!
11) Groundbait in any shape or form is not allowed on any
of the fisheries. Loose
feed only. Sweetcorn as a hookbait only.
12) Opening and closing as per District lighting up times.
13)
NO TINS
Allowed eg Sweetcorn, meat etc.
14) The club and the management of the sites accept no
responsibility for any injury or
damage sustained to any person, member or day ticket holder, whilst on
club preserves.
15) Hooks to be barbless or micro barb, maximum size 14 at
Brussleton Reservoir
16) Authorised matches only, absolutely no "knock ups"
17)
ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED ON THESE FISHERIES.
18) Any person found infringing the club rules and
regulations will be immediately
barred from the fisheries. |
